Meet The Provider

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie McCarter and I am a physical therapist and the owner at Nova Physical Therapy & Wellness. My dream of becoming a physical therapist and making a difference in the lives of people began in high school. I grew up in a small town called Gunter in North Texas; however, I have lived all over the state of Texas to pursue this dream of mine. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in College Station and my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. My husband and I moved to Montgomery in 2021, and we just fell in love with the area and the community. I am the lucky mom of two children, a boy and girl. Some of my hobbies include: spending time with my family, sipping on some local coffee, catching up with friends over brunch, or exercising!

Nova Physical Therapy and Wellness was created after much prayer and on God’s timing. After my oldest had a NICU stay following birth and a difficult postpartum period, it redirected my focus in supporting mommas and babies! It truly takes a village to feel supported during this challenging, yet so beautiful stage of life. I would love to be a part of your village!
